Life insurance considerations are often personal, and may relate to age, financial standing, family size or the nature of employment. According to 40/29 news in Fayetteville, Arkansas, one man has increased his insurance coverage for a very specific threat to his health.
The source says that Tony Arnold, a tow truck operator from Rogers, Arkansas, recently increased his life insurance coverage because of a few near-misses he experienced on Interstate 540, a road he says is particularly dangerous for road workers and motorists with disabled vehicles.
Arnold advises drivers on I-540 to use caution, and says that anyone working on the road, especially at night, should wear reflective clothing and take all necessary precautions, using road flares and hazard lights when broken down.
"I've had a few near misses with mirrors just clipping my back," he told the source.
Recently, a 28 year old man was struck by a pickup truck and killed on I-540 while changing a flat tire.
