Results of life insurance poll announced

The results were recently announced for the "Should You Get Life Insurance if You Do Not Have Children?" poll, which found a majority of respondents saying "no."

While it's true that one of the primary benefits of life insurance is that a good policy will provide financial support for a policyholder's dependants, the results of the survey suggest too many people are unaware of the other benefits of life insurance. Many life insurance products can provide financial support for policyholders even during their lifetimes, with annuity products being some of the most popular and reliable investments.

It's likely, given the results of the poll, that more people need to be thinking about life insurance, but many people are already part of the life insurance market, and insurers such as CNO have experienced a successful 2011.
