Lincoln Financial Group announced recently it will begin using XRAE automated underwriting software application for life insurance policy-issuing decisions.

Lincoln Financial Group is the brand name behind the Lincoln Financial Corporation, the financial services company with more than $162 billion in assets and about $11.7 billion worthy of equity, according to the company's website.

XRAE is an automated solution software manufactured by Rolling Solutions, a California-based company specializing in multi-carrier field underwriting. The software will provide automated quotes to field agents and brokers and allow them to enter information from consumers much easier.

Guidance and case scenarios can be entered into the XRAE software for better results, and the program also makes it much easier for agents and brokers to share case files for further evaluation.

Since launching XRAE in 2008, Rolling Solutions has been dedicated to making things easier and more understandable for the consumers, as well as agents and brokers, in the life insurance industry, according to XRAE's website.

XRAE evaluates more than 100,000 rules based on 600 potential questions in a short amount of time to determine the best case underwriting classification.
