The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and its wholly owned subsidiary, the Berkshire Life Insurance Company of America, recently released the new ProVider Plus Disability Insurance series.
Starting January 3, the new ProVider Plus series will offer members of the dental and medical community different choices and brand features related to their profession, such as a lump sum benefit paid out when the policy expires.
“The flexibility and choice offered with the new Guardian series reflects a continued trend in recent years of improved options available to physicians within the disability insurance marketplace,” said Thomas Lloyd, an insurance professional.
Disability and life insurance is becoming increasingly needed as a form of coverage among the baby boomer and elderly communities. A recent report commissioned by Grandparents.com shows that households led by 55 to 64 year olds have the highest net worth of any age group, to the tune of $254,000. Life insurance policies can go a long way in leaving a legacy that succeeding generations can benefit from for years to come.
