American General Life Insurance Companies was recently recognized by Best's Review magazine's Innovators Showcase for its two innovations related to life insurance coverage: the ExamRight program and new prescription database technology.
With its ExamRight initiative, American General Life has digitized the traditional paramedical paper exam. The idea was originated in 2007 but American General's underwriting department just recently confirmed the improvements associated with bringing the process into the 21st century.
"We are delighted to be part of the Innovators Showcase," said Mary Jane Fortin, president and CEO of American General. "For over 160 years American General has protected the hopes and dreams of American families; we've always strived to bring thoughtful, innovative solutions to our customers and we're pleased to be recognized for our efforts."
Although a life insurance policy through American General Life Insurance Company may be the right decision for some, it is not the only option for coverage. Consumers interested in purchasing a life insurance policy for the financial sake of their dependents and other loved ones should shop around by comparing life insurance quotes online from competing companies.
