Thinking About Term Life Insurance?
How long have you been thinking about term life insurance? I've been thinking about it for months now, and I still haven't applied. The funny thing is, I am a licensed life insurance agent, and I work in a life insurance agency.
I know...it sounds pathetic. But because of this, I think I can understand what you're going through.
Thinking about life insurance is not always fun. In many cases we're just too busy to sit down and make it happen, or we have so many other things to worry about (bills, mortgage, etc.) that life insurance just has to wait.
In my case, I know exactly where to go for the life insurance application. I know what's involved in the life insurance medical exam. I know exactly where to go to look for term life insurance rates. I know how to fill out the paperwork, and what to expect, and still I haven't done it.
So, how can we get this done?
The hard part about putting something like term life insurance on the back burner is that you never know when you're going to need it.
In my case, I am unmarried and have no children. If I were to die, I would not leave a wife and kids behind with no safety net (and yes, I still want to get life insurance).
But I know that some of you out there are not in my situation. In fact, probably most of you are not in my situation.
