What's the process?
Life Insurance Application Process
Once your request for life insurance has been submitted, we will contact you within 24-48 hours to answer any questions you may have. We will also complete the life insurance application with you over the phone and send you the application via Priority Mail so you can review it and sign where appropriate. It generally takes up to 3 days for your life insurance application to arrive. After reviewing and signing the application, you can return it to us in the return envelope we have included.
Approximately 2-3 business days after submitting your request for life insurance online, you will be contacted by an examiner from Superior Mobile Medics to schedule a medical exam. The examiner will come out to your home or office and give you the 30 minute exam. This exam is free, and includes measuring your height and weight, checking your blood pressure, and obtaining a blood and urine sample.
Once the exam is completed and the life insurance application is received back in our office, it usually takes approximately 4-6 weeks before a policy is issued. Once your application has been approved, we will contact you to go over the rates and to let you know that the life insurance company is mailing out your policy (which you should receive within 2-3 business days). There are usually a few forms that require your signature that will need to be mailed back along with any premium due. Once these are received in our office, your policy is in force.
