Wholesale Insurance is an independent life insurance agency. Because of our independent agency status, we are able to sell life insurance policies from many life insurance companies.
In the life insurance industry, there are two types of agents or agencies: captive and independent. Captive agents work for and sell life insurance policies from only one life insurance company.
Independent life insurance agents and agencies are licensed with many life insurance companies and can represent and sell policies from each life insurance company with which they are licensed.
This is important to you because being able to shop around and look at rates from many life insurance companies will allow you to find the best rates.
If you only deal with a captive agent, chances are you are not seeing the whole picture and could miss out on the lowest rates. (If you run a quote on our site, you will see that prices vary dramatically from one life insurance company to another.)
Life insurance companies tend to specialize in different markets (or in other words, they each have the lowest rates for different types of people).
